WHAT'S REALLY FOOD?

I am so embarrassed. This was so obvious that we almost completely bypassed it.
The toasted everything bagel with cream cheese: lifeblood, ambrosia & sweet nectar of Gods. De facto breakfast of every public school teacher in Brooklyn (and maybe Queens). $1.50 - $2.25 in any given neighborhood in New York City (you shouldn’t be getting bagels outside of New York as is).
Paired with a cup of bodega/deli coffee, the smell evokes your (my) obese, cologne drenched math teacher screaming “YELENER TURN ONDA COMPUTA” in a crippling Brooklyn accent.
Eat it when you’re wasted, hungover, broke, in a rush or feeling nostalgic. Or eat it every day, twice a day.I am so embarrassed. This was so obvious that we almost completely bypassed it.
