Feelings.
Failed communism makes an Eastern European heritage so off-kilter it verges on pitiful. I will run from my odiferous, fishy ancestry for the rest of my life. But it will find me on hungover mornings, when I wake up inexplicably craving crepes with caviar. I miss my grandma you guysss.
