Listen, I know John and Tamara stay going to fancy places but some of us are on a budget! Some of us have copious amounts of hair conditioner and eyeliner to purchase and this requires us to forgo eating lobster rolls and pork belly. Woe is me, I’m sure.
In the wake of a heatwave I made some weird shit from the 4 ingredients Adam and I dug up in our sparsely populated fridge. Did you hear there’s a heatwave? No? Go outside, you seem depressed. Come over, I made fresh iced tea with mint. Come over but bring a fan.
This food is very ugly, I understand. But here’s what it was anyway.
1. Brussell sprouts with honey & hot sauce
2. Cold pastini w/ fresh aparagus, lemon and olive oil
3. Salmon burger with peppercorns & vidalia onions
4. Iced mint sweet tea
The moral of the story is ice and lemons and also the moral of the story is I might be jealous because I’m broke so I wrote this entry pretending I’m not eating fancy food because digging up poo poo from my fridge is just fine by me.
